Organizing any function, whether it is business or private, is a gigantic task and responsibility on your shoulders. At the German club we will help you to turn any function into an unforgettable experience for you and your guests alike.

Our Conference Hall
The conference hall is suited for weddings, 21st birthday celebrations, special parties, corporate functions etc. Musical evenings & specialty celebrations. Menus of your choice can be arranged. The hall is suited for live and disco music. It can be expanded to include a private pub and porch with a braai area. Waiters are also available for your special occasion.
Private Hall with Private Pub
An excellent venue for a private party, suitable for an intimate wedding, conference or club meeting. You can also book the use of the Skittle Alley. This hall can be decorated and arranged according to you specific requirements.

We can arrange functions in any of our venues, depending on your choice and the number of guests.

Catering Arrangements:
Please select your menu choice from one of the menus listed in our menu tab, or you can design your own menu and discuss it with our chef, Thomas Fuchs, for pricing and advice.
Please note that for all Menus a 10% service charge will be added to your final account.

We have a list of preferred suppliers, should you require their services attending to the following:

Music – Mark Nel 083 679 7875 – We can also organise a juke box for your function with a great variety of music for only R1500.

Payment terms and conditions:
We do not accept cheques.
Cash, all major credit cards or payment via EFT may be used to settle your account, which must be effected on or before the day of your function, unless prior arrangements has been made with management.
Upon booking one of our venues we will send you an invoice with the full venue hire price which will be considered as your deposit and confirmation of booking and will be non-refundable if cancellation is made less than 90 days before your function. If no payment has been received within 7 days of dispatch of invoice we will consider your booking as being cancelled.

Service Charge:
Please note that for all functions a 10% service charge will be added to your final account.

General:
The venue hire includes the use of our tables , chairs , crockery , cutlery and linen etc.
Any extra equipment requested will be for your own account.
All menu prices are valid for 2 months from date of quotation, thereafter menu prices can change without prior notice unless function is paid for in full on date of booking.
An optional car guard is available at R200,00 for your function.
Arrangements for music must be arranged by yourself and must stop at midnight.

Please note that no beverages of any sort may be brought onto German club premises. If found, said beverages will be confiscated and not returned.

Out of respect for our neighbors please ask your guests not to make a noise in our car park and to please refrain from revving their car engines excessively.
